The story of how two Cumbrian men were rescued from the bottom of the ocean 40 years ago could be made into a film.

Roger Chapman and Roger Mallinson spent 3 days in a submarine waiting to be rescued in 1973.

The film rights have now been boughts by Giant films , which is in talks with a-list actors rumoured to include Ewan McGreggor and Jude Law.
