Broadcast Journalist | Reporter | Presenter | Host | Public Speaker | Property Developer | Adventurer I'm a Broadcast Journalist based in Kendal, Cumbria. I'm ITV Border's Lake District Reporter. I have an MA in Broadcast Journalism from top UK BJTC-accredited University, City University, London and a degree in English and Drama from the University of Birmingham. Views expressed are sometimes mine but never my employer's. Outside of work I love the outdoors. I'm the founder of Windermere Rowing Club and a member of Helm Hill fell running club and Kendal Cycling Club. I also climb and ski tour. I have a small property business and enjoy building work and interior design. Thanks for stopping by.

    Getting Stronger

“I love darkness” a light blue night sky silhouettes Kendal’s castle. Stars wait patiently above for us to spring into action when our relay partners hurtle downhill signalling… Read more “Getting Stronger”

    Navigating

    Lakeland 100: Recce 2

There’s a hum as ultra runners mill in Ambleside Parish Hall. There’s a lot of squeaky clean new kit. Salomon has done well. I look a little… Read more “Lakeland 100: Recce 2”

    Helm Hill Winter League

A whelp escapes my breath as cold peat envelopes my knee. My heart absorbs my frustration at being a ruddy girl. Defeat spreads from my swamped ankle towards… Read more “Helm Hill Winter League”
