You will need:
- Waterproof gloves (not necessary but bloody useful)
- A shovel
- A plastic dustpan
- A scraper
Shovel off all but the last foot of snow, starting with the top and working down.
Then use the plastic dustpan to take off the final foot.
Finally, turn the engine on and take off the last bit with the rubber ice scraper.
Get all the bits around the windscreen wipers – trying to move them covered in snow can short your circuit.
