Empty Olympic Football Seats at St James Park

Olympic ticket problems just won’t stay out of the headlines. Whether it’s long queues on the outside or empty seats on the inside, there have been problems from day one.

Now one Tyneside man is claiming he was forced to move seats to minimise the number of empty spaces visible on TV camera:

The Brazil v Honduras Men’s Quarterfinal at St James Park was the only sell-out Olympic game at St James Park. It was also an awesome match and I danced round the office when I got tickets.
