Graham Wylie: Why Newcastle Needs a Home for Heart Patient Children

The Sick Children’s Trust and Children’s Heart Unit Fund are trying to raise 2 million pounds to build a Home from Home at Newcastle’s Freeman Hospital.

The house will have 18 en-suite bedrooms with direct phones to the ward and a transplant flat to help patients prepare to go home.

North East businessman and CHUF patron Graham Wylie has pledged to help raise the first half: one million. I’ve been talking to him about it:
