A two week trial of electronic signs on the Holy Island causeway has come to an end.
The aim was to stop people driving over the causeway and getting stuck.
The RNLI haven’t been called out in the last two weeks – but then they haven’t been called out since the start of the year.
Most tourists find them helpful and I did see many people stop and when I spoke to them they said they’d decided not to cross as a result of the signs. But people on the island have a few ideas for improvement.
