Patients with dementia can often end up in care homes that aren’t suitable for their needs.

But those opening a new respite home in Newcastle this week are hoping to change that because its been specially designed for patients needs and thought to be the first of it’s kind in the country.

It’s the latest addition to the new Dementia day centre in Brunswick Village.
