Over recent years, we’ve seen the city of Newcastle topping the charts for culture, socialising and partying, but now the city is top for something else…Running!
That’s according to the magazine Runner’s World, which has voted Newcastle the best city for runners in the UK.
It’s the third time the magazine has ran a survey of urban running experiences – and this year Newcastle was rated highly enough to knock the last winner, Nottingham off the top spot.
So.. What makes Newcastle such a great place to run..?
